Is This Right for My Dog?
Is This Right for My Dog?
This smaller pad is designed for targeted support on specific joints.
It’s best suited for:
- Dogs with stiffness in one or two specific areas
- Targeting joints such as knees, hips, shoulders or elbows
- Dogs who benefit from focused, precise support
- Owners who want to treat one area at a time
If your dog has stiffness across multiple areas or prefers to simply lie down and relax, the large full-body pad may be a better option.
Targeted Joint Support
Targeted Joint Support
Measuring 27cm x 13cm, this compact pad is designed for precise, area-specific support.
It allows you to focus light directly on:
- Knees (stifle joints)
- Hips and lower back
- Shoulders and elbows
- Specific areas of stiffness or discomfort
The adjustable strap allows the pad to be gently secured in place, making it ideal for targeted sessions without needing to hold it.
This makes it especially useful for treating one joint at a time with controlled, consistent sessions.
For full-body coverage, our large pad allows your dog to lie down and receive support across multiple joints at once.
How Red Light Therapy Works
How Red Light Therapy Works
Red light therapy (also known as photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of light to support the body’s natural recovery processes.
This pad combines two types of light:
- Red light (660nm) – supports surface-level tissues and helps encourage circulation
- Near-infrared light (850nm) – reaches deeper areas such as hips and joints
Together, this dual-spectrum approach supports dogs experiencing:
- Arthritis and joint stiffness
- Hip discomfort and mobility issues
- Reduced movement in older dogs
- Post-exercise muscle soreness
For best results, use consistently as part of your dog’s routine.

Why Mila Uses It?
Mila is an active 8-year-old who loves water, chasing balls and running after squirrels. So when she started slowing down after walks, struggled to get up and started to limp, we knew something wasn’t right.
After vet visits and X-rays, she was diagnosed with arthritis in her back legs. We didn’t want to rely only on medication, so we looked for something we could use at home to support her comfortably.
That’s when we introduced red light therapy into her routine.
• Helps her settle more comfortably after walks
• Targeted support on her back right leg when stiffness flares up
• No restraint she simply lies down and relaxes
Used regularly, we’ve seen a clear difference in how she recovers, less stiffness, more comfort, and ready to go again the next day.
She’s still the same energetic Mila.
This just helps keep her comfortable doing what she loves.
Our pug Frankie has arthritis its and we were looking for something we could use at home alongside the advice from our vet. this fits on her back legs while on the sofa
Our boy Bruno has always powered through discomfort, so I didn’t realise how stiff he’d become until recently. He’d lie down fine but getting back up always took that extra second.
We started using the small pad across his lower back while he rests in his bed and within a couple of weeks that hesitation started to disappear.
It’s not dramatic or flashy just steady improvement. And honestly, that’s exactly what I wanted.
Worth every penny for the reassurance alone.
We’ve tried supplements and various “joint aids” over the years, but this is the first thing where I’ve seen a visible change in how he moves.
We use the small pad directly across Jaspers lower back each evening. After a few weeks of using it he now stretches out properly like he used too.
I nearly bought a cheaper one online but Mila’s story made me trust this one more. I’m glad I did.
Ollie had to wear a cone after a procedure and was clearly uncomfortable being less mobile. We used the small red light pad across his back while he rested and it made such a difference to how settled he seemed.
He relaxes into it rather than shifting constantly. It’s given us peace of mind knowing we’re doing something proactive during recovery.
Customer service was brilliant too by Elliott when I had questions beforehand.
I was fully expecting Ted to wriggle and protest but he just sits calmly. We mainly use it around his hips after longer walks. He relaxes almost immediately. After about a month of use, he’s noticeably less stiff after exercise. Subtle improvement, but consistent.
Also love supporting a small business where you can tell it’s genuinely used and trusted.

How do I position the pad?
The small pad is designed for targeted therapy and can be positioned directly over the area you want to support.
Common areas include:
- Hips, knees, shoulders, back or any joints affected by stiffness
The pad can be:
- Placed over the area you wish to target
- Placed under your dog while they rest
- Gently wrapped around a limb or joint using the fastening straps
Always ensure your dog is comfortable and relaxed during use.
Can this be used alongside veterinary care?
Yes. Red light therapy is often used alongside existing care routines to support comfort and mobility. If your dog has a medical condition or you’re unsure, it’s always best to check with your vet before introducing any new wellness product.
